A Fun Filled Day at Kids Kingdom
We took the kids to the park in Hendersonville. The boys loved being able to run, climb, slide, and swing. Katie loved it too. She slept through most of the excitement but she seemed to like being out in the sun. The weather was so pleasant and it made for a great day to be outside and a great day for some quality family time. It was a HUGE blessing to see the boys' faces light up with happiness, excitement, and joy when we pulled into the park. Mace and I both were pleasantly surprised at how well we did with our first official outing as a family of six! Everyone had a great time and behaved well. I could not have asked for better kids or a better day!

Made It Through
I made it through one week of daycare! I had Mom here at the beginning of the week and Mace has been here the later part of the week. I did try to do most things by myself for the majority of the week; however, I can definitely tell I am not 100 percent but I guess that is to be expected. Daycare takes alot of energy and with me not being at normal speed it has just wore me out in the evenings! All of the kids were so excited to be back and be in a routine. I did miss them all and it is good to be in a more normal routine. You know me...I live for routines and organization!
I do go to the doctor on Monday for a postpartum follow up appointment. I am hoping that he releases me to do more light duty chores and tasks. I think he will and then allow me to do a little more as I get stronger.

Getting Back to Reality
Tomorrow is my first day back to my daycare world. I am ready for a more normal routine. I wish I had a little more time off but at least I am able to stay at home with my kids and not have to go to work everyday. I love being able to stay at home and be a constant presence in my children's lives. I would like everyone to pray for me as I transition back into my daycare world and for my recovery as well. I am much stronger which makes it hard not to do things that I know needs to be done; however, I know that I am still in recovery mode and need to treat my body like it is there still. My mom is going to be coming and helping me out for the first few days this week and Mace will be here at the end of the week since I am still not able to drive or lift. Daycare requires lifting! My normal daily life requires lifting...lifting of the twins in and out of the cribs and booster seats. So I know that I still need a little help. I will update blog tomorrow after the first day back in the "Real World."
